Art transforms, informs, heals and connects us to a higher energy. I’m blessed to be a fourth-generation artist inspired at a young age by my great grandfather and later on in life by my beautiful mother; a beloved local artist in Philadelphia. She was my role model, changing careers mid-life to pursue her dreams; unfortunately, her life was cut short by cancer, but her legacy lives on in her art. Before passing, she empowered me to pursue my gift full time and I finally took the leap. One month prior to the COVID-19 pandemic I left my job in hospitality to be a full-time painter. The timing was a blessing. While I missed the opportunity to jump into the vibrant world of art and inspiration that Philly has to offer, another opportunity presented itself. Suddenly I had alone time to create with my canvases, paints and brushes. It was the best therapy as I blocked out the chaos and stress the world was experiencing and got lost in creation.

 

My portfolio and client base expanded offering a diverse style that includes portraits of the famous and not so famous along with pet portraits, abstract and pop art. Creating with paints and brushes is part of my DNA. I find joy in creating art from ideas and visions my clients have that I translate onto canvas.
